Services
Our Advisors and Consultants present the highest level of academic, military and law enforcement experience from around the world, including the US, UK, Israel and Australia. The main objectives of our Advisory Board (the “Board”) are:
- Through advice and guidance, bring a wide range of skills and expertise to enhance the ability to facilitate and support world leading security, risk and investigation management services in the Asia Pacific Region;
- Protect and balance the interests of our professionalism and independence; and
- Facilitate learning, information sharing and promotion of expertise, worldwide.
Amlec House provides independent advice and guidance on issues relating to:
- Security Risk Management
- Security Technology
- Business Continuity & Crisis Management
- Education and Training
- Research and Investigations
Our advisors have all presented at International Security Summits, delivered high level workshops and training initiatives for Home Office and Homeland Security, Airports, Border Patrol, Coast Guards and Mega Yacht crews in the US. Our programs provide comprehensive information dealing with the actions personnel and crews need to take and about vulnerabilities in business and security operations.
We also have consultants involved in the aviation and maritime security sector, concentrating on aviation security and screening processes against terrorism, ISPS code issues which included counter piracy; maritime security surveying (ships and ports) and associated training. Mr. Tomer Benito is a former Security Advisor to El Al Airlines at Los Angeles International Airport and Professor Martin Gill has significant networking capabilities in this area, with the capacity to train and provide consultancy on maritime operations in India, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Mr. Bruce Blythe offers the highest level of strategic crisis leadership and workplace violence advice and facilitates ‘C’ Suite Executive Briefings and Crisis Team Building Exercises.
In Western Australia, in addition to providing security advice to ASX listed companies, we are preferred consultants to the WA Local Government Association, with expertise in Public Space CCTV Surveillance, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED - also referred to as 'Designing Out Crime'), and Crime Risk Assessments.
We take a mutli-disciplined and holistic approach as there is never a single solution to protect all assets and information. Skilfully applied risk management practices are essential to getting the best return from security controls and the security investment.
We maintain current and proficient knowledge of security technologies, including CCTV and the range of manufacturers, integrators and installers. Most importantly, we are constantly seeking out new or emerging technologies which offer greater value or efficiencies. The rapid and far reaching change in technology, corporate and community expectations, and business related risks requires the maintenance of modern, goal orientated, fully functional security surveillance systems and management practices. Getting the maximum real dollar and subjective benefit from security risk management will require appropriate and skilfully applied advice, management and review.
If you are in the market for security equipment or systems, we can provide you with expert advice and consultation to discuss your required specifications and potential cost versus benefit. As an independent consultant, we will work for you in getting your security needs met, not a supplier's sales target.
